- pan
- ingredients:
- frozen brussel sprouts (hopefully the steam in bag version)
- olive oil and/or butter
- mozzarella cheese (recommend tillamook)

- heat up a pan w/ olive oil and butter
- pan fry the garlic for 2-4 minutes over medium heat (until fragrant or very lightly browned)
- throw in the brussel sprouts, pan fry for a bit (5 - 7 minutes), stirring regularly to coat with garlic and butter. Be sure not to overcook them since they'll be going in the oven later.
- in an oven safe casserole dish, combine brussel sprouts and cheese
- cover with an extra layer of cheese
- cover the casserole dish w/ aluminum foil (so the cheese melts but doesn’t burn)

- crank up the heat to broil 400/450 for 2-4 minutes to brown the cheese
Caution
- When broiling, keep a very close eye on the dish so the cheese browns but doesn't burn.
- Be sure not to overcook in the microwave
- Be sure not to overcook in the pan
